Greeters have an important job each week. They may be the very first people to greet those who are arriving for worship, whether visitor or member. A friendly greeting at the door helps set the tone for the time we spend together.

When you take your turn as a greeter, remember that your welcome and handshake is important to all who arrive: it reminds us that we come in joy and gladness to worship. If you encounter a visitor, look for ways to personalize the welcome: do they need direction to the nursery? Would they appreciate an encouragement to join us for coffee after the service?

Please arrive early when it is your turn to greet. Families are encouraged to greet together, including the children.
