Facilities Supervision & Planning Committee

The primary task of the Facilities Supervision & Planning Committee is to exercise supervision over the church facilities. This committee regularly reviews the church building and property to determine the need for maintenance, repair, and other projects which contribute to the efficiency, safety, and value of the building.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the use of the church for weddings, anniversaries, family gatherings, and other group meetings
  • Setting the fees for church rental and use
  • Keeping the Church Use Policy current
  • Approving maintenance expenditures 
  • Working with the church custodian with respect to maintenance and equipment needs
  • Submitting a budget to the deacons each fall to cover building expenses
